The vacuum cleaner I ordered picked up the dirt and spit it back out. Amazon gave me no trouble at all in getting a replacement and returning the defective one. Unfortunately, the replacement had the same broken part that the original did. Very disappointing, especially since it was supposed to be a commercial model.
