I wasn't going to purchase such an expensive vacuum but my husband really talked Dyson up. Then our dog had puppies and there was dog hair everywhere so I caved. When we first used it I thought it was the best vacuum on the planet but we've had it since November and I've learned to absolutely hate it. It can pick up the tiniest piece of dust but not a small piece of paper? Also it is always, always saying there's an obstruction. So instead of taking 15 minutes to vacuum one room it ends up taking two hours. Hate this vacuum!!!
