This product is poorly designed as described by other users and not very sturdy. It failed after only 2 very light uses (creating bread crumbs). It's not worth returning under warranty which requires that you send Cuisinart $5. By the time you add the cost of packing and mailing it to them -- and the time it takes to do so -- the cost of obtaining a warranty repair exceeds it original price.
