The EUREKA 950 Series vacuum cleaner is the junkiest equipment I have ever used! Apart from the rug cleaning attachment which does have good suction, all the tools and the handle-to-tool adapter are junk. The adapter and the attachments don't attach securely to the wand or handle, and are too small and flimsy to pick up much dirt or clean properly. The hard floor nozzle is especially useless - suction occurs at the center wand entry but the bristles are so flimsy that no adequate suction occurs over the length of the thing. Also, I strongly discourage getting a dust container rather than bags. It is messy and dusty to empty, you have to stick you hand into the container to remove the dirt from the entrance to the filter and also manually clean off the the cartridge filter. Further the attachment caddy on the wand is misplaced and makes it hard if not impossible to vac under couches, etc. and doesn't hold the attachments securely anyway. The electric cord is too short. This purchase was a $200 mistake. I give it a giant thumbs down. Let me say that I bought this online without seeing or feeling it for real. Another mistake.
